"Alone we can do so little, TOGETHER we can do so much" Understanding the strength of unity, young girls from Yelwadi village have come together and formed "GIRL CLUB". under the banner of 'YOU CAN DO IT" they are coming together and standing up for gender equity with the support of the Work for Equality organization.

On the occasion of "International Radio Day" - 13February, Children associated with Work for Equality broadcasted various programs like storytelling, songs, and poems on Vidyavani Community Radio. We are proud of our children.


Girls Leadership
"I want every girl to know that her voice can change the world" like the powerful quote by Malala Yousafzai, girls leaders Antara, Renuka, and Neha from small villages came together for the Noble cause that is Girls empowerment and formed girls clubs in their own villages to raise their voices for gender equity. The Change Makers have a dream that they will create a supportive and positive environment for the girls in their villages so that girls will get adequate support for


Girls Power
They are having capacities to solve their own issues, they understood "unity is the best policy", and they decided to use it. Girls leaders while sharing their future planning with concerned authorities (Gramsevika). They have decided to form Girls' Clubs in their villages to unite with other girls.


Livelihood Skills
Girls in rural areas have to drop out of school for a number of reasons, often unaware of their artistic talents. But through such art skills training through the organization, we are working to rediscover their own strengths. Ultimately confidence is a superpower. The gap between skill and ability reveals a golden opportunity! We are trying to give that opportunity.
