Inauguration of Advanced Tailoring course for village women

Work for Equality has Inaugurated Advanced three months tailoring course for the village women. Twenty women are participating in the program.
Sangita Gavade age 19 years belongs to Thakar community has done basic three months tailoring course organized by work for equality. She shared "In our community, girls do not get education opportunity up to 8th standard. I completed my 10th because I was in Pune. when I came back to my village, I thought my parents will also force my for marriage, fortunately I came into the contact of work for equality and done tailoring basic course, now I am independent and earning approximately Rs. 1000 monthly. This course not only has given me earning source but also increase my social status as well."
